A Look Back at 2015

Wow! What a year it’s been for us here at SOI! Last week we celebrated one year in our new office location. We love our new space, and are enjoying the convenience and functionality that have come along with it. If you haven’t been able to see it yet, we hope that you’re able to visit soon!

While our big move has been the highlight of our year, lots of other exciting things have happened as well:

  • As many of you know, we released new versions of two big pieces of our software this year: SOI Control (for Form CR and Form L analyses) and IPP Management. Customers are enjoying both the new look and improved functionality of both.
  • Our Basic Reader program, which has been available for a few years now, was a huge hit this year! Both teachers and practitioners have been using the program to help elementary-age students who are struggling with reading. What a difference it has made for these kids!
  • We welcomed several new schools on board this year who have implemented Certified Learning, IPP, or both: Rantoul City Schools in Illinois, Silverton ISD in Texas, and Frenship ISD in Texas. In addition, we have also partnered with Energia Wellbeing, a company in India that works in the country’s schools to provide students with the skills and abilities needed to succeed in both their work and life.
  • Many of you know Diane Hochstein, president of SOI Service Company. She, along with Dylan Fitzpatrick and Bettina Roth, opened their new learning center – Up for Learning – in Springfield, Oregon this summer. We are so excited for them and know that they will have a great impact on our community!

As we look ahead to the next year, we are filled with excitement for the things to come! We have some awesome new projects and programs that we will be announcing soon. And, of course, we are grateful to each and every one of you who is a part of SOI’s success. We are thankful for the difference that you make in your students’ and clients’ lives.
